Turn on two-factor sign-in
Protect your account with a second step: an authenticator app or an emailed code.

Steps
- 1Open your Profile page and find “Two-factor sign-in”.
- 2Choose “Use an authenticator app” and scan the picture with an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy, or choose “Use email codes”.
- 3Enter the 6 digit code shown in the app, or the one we emailed you, and choose “Switch on”.
- 4From now on, after your password you are asked for a code before you are signed in.
- 5To switch it off, choose “Turn off two-factor” and confirm your password.
Lost your phone? On the code screen choose “Email me a code instead”. The code is sent to your account email address.
Codes from an emailed message work for 10 minutes.
